We work out what a UK IPTV subscription really costs over a year, then rank on that rather than on the offer price.

Almost every IPTV provider claims to be the cheapest. Most of them are, for one billing period. The number that decides whether a subscription was worth having is the one you pay in month thirteen, and hardly anybody publishes it. That gap is the reason this site exists.

Paying our own way

Subscriptions are bought with the site budget, at the public rate, through the same checkout anybody else uses. We hold no press accounts and accept no complimentary logins, because a provider that knows it is being reviewed behaves differently from one that does not.

Pricing the renewal, not the offer

Introductory rates get recorded, then set aside. What we rank on is the figure a provider charges once the first term lapses, multiplied out across a year and divided by the number of simultaneous streams the plan actually permits. Ordering the market that way moves several providers a long way from where their own marketing places them, and it is why the lowest headline price on our table is not the entry we recommend.

Testing on a British line

Each service runs on ordinary domestic fibre, through the boxes people here genuinely own: an Amazon Firestick, an Android set-top box, a Smart TV app. We watch during the hours when capacity gets strained, weekend afternoons and weekday evenings, because a stream that holds at eleven in the morning proves very little. Scores cover channel depth, picture quality at peak, stability, how awkward the setup was, how fast support replies, and what the whole thing costs. The table is re-priced every quarter.
